The experts of Vodokanalproekt-Chisti Vodi OOD have carried out an enormous number of investigations and project elaboration assigned by government institutions to find overall solutions to the water supply of residential areas and the protection of environment.

Main Activities:
  • Hydrological and economic studies;
  • Regional water-supply networks for drinking water;
  • Studying and designing river water catchments, hydraulic structures and dams;
  • Designs of water-supply and sewerage systems;
  • Designs of water treatment plants for drinking water, softening installations and treatment of water;
  • Waste water treatment plants;
  • Designs for collecting and treating solid waste substances;
  • Designs of automation and control systems for water-supply and sewerage projects;
  • Supervision of the construction of the projects mentioned above;
  • Preparation of tender documents for the implementation of projects in compliance with the requirements of international standards and regulations;
  • Preparation of offers for tender participation;
  • Provision of experts and teams of experts for designing, supervising and exploiting water-supply and sewerage systems as well as water treatment plants.

    Activities in Bulgaria:

    Participation in the elaboration of over 40 drinking-water projects. Some of the major ones designed by the experts of the Company are: Bistritsa, Kamchiya, Yasna Polyana, Blagoevgrad, Kardjali, Gotse Delchev, Kyustendil, Cherni Osam etc.

    The experts of the company are experienced in the design of stations for preparing the water for different kinds of industrial production.

    Larger water-supply systems, designed with the participation of the experts from the company: Water supply to the town of Sliven from the terrace of the Tunja river, the towns of Shoumen, Targovishte and Preslav from the Titcha Dam, North-East Bulgaria from the Danube system, the town of Svishtov from the Raney Wells, the towns of Vratsa and Montana from the Srechenska bara Dam, the towns of Pleven, Lovetch and Troyan from the Cherni Osam Dam etc.

    Activities Abroad:

    Design and construction of water-supply stations with pressure filters for the towns of Okena and Jos, Nigeria; Dams in Nigeria and Libya.
